Oats Masala Buttermilk

This yoghurt-based drink is both delicious and healthy, making it the perfect accompaniment to your meals. It’s also a great way to cool off when the heat is unbearable! and addition of oats enhances the nutrition value of this beverage. Enjoy this healthy beverage to quench your thirst this summer.


-1/2 cup oats

-1 & 1/2 cup low fat curd

-1/2 inch piece ginger

-1/4 cup mint leaves

-1/4 tsp cumin powder

-Black salt and green chillies to taste

Method of preparation:

- Roast Oats for 4-6 minutes. Cook and grind.

- Soak Oats in 1/4 cup hot water for 2-3 minutes

- Blend mint leaves, chillies, ginger and oats till smooth

- Add curd, spices and a cup of ice cold water. Blend for 30 seconds

- Garnish with mint and serve
